What are Voice Agents?
Voice Agents are customizable AI-powered, conversational assistants designed to autonomously run calls and perform various tasks. You can tailor them to specific needs, whether it’s identifying potential clients from inbound sales calls, conducting surveys, or supporting customers.
This feature helps expand your team's capacity with a more dynamic approach than traditional methods.
Who can use Voice Agents?
While in Beta, Voice Agents are free and available on all plans.
How to build a Voice Agent
Navigate to the Agents page from the left navigation sidebar.
You can select one of the 3 specialized agents (Inbound Sales, Survey, Customer Support) to lead specific calls. Or, you can create your own custom agent.
Click ‘Set up’
Fill out the input fields in the
Builder
page. Refer to the guidelines below to craft your agent:You can also personalize your agent’s appearance by changing its name, background color, voice, and/or avatar.
To change the agent’s name, edit the text at the top of the page. You can also update its description.
To change the agent’s background color, select from our preset options or enter a custom HEX value.
To change the agent’s voice, choose from a list of 7 options. You can test each voice by clicking the play button next to the dropdown.
To change the agent’s avatar, click ‘Edit’ button under the agent profile (or click on the profile itself) and upload an image.
Once you’re satisfied with your input, click the ‘Publish’ button at the top-right corner of the page. An agent URL will be generated and displayed at the top.
Your agent is now ready for action! Copy and paste this agent URL to wherever you’d like (company website, Twitter, etc) and anyone with the URL will be able participate in a call with your agent. For each session, the agent will collect the participant’s name and email, and generate notes after the session ends.
If you need to take down your agent, simply unpublish it by clicking the ellipses button next to the ‘Publish’ button. You can always click ‘Publish’ again to re-publish your agent and resume using it.
Sessions captured by your voice agent can be accessed by navigating to the Agents page, selecting the agent’s name, and clicking into the Sessions tab.
Agents can only host calls on Google Meet at the moment for at most 10 minutes. Support for Zoom calls is coming soon.
Session information is visible only to you; the session participant will not have access to your notes.
