Steps to take if your app is being unresponsive

On Mac

Keyboard Shortcuts (if Supernormal does not come up here, proceed to below Activity Monitor)

  • Option + Command + Escape (Esc) simultaneously to open the Force Quit menu, select the app, and click "Force Quit".

  • Alternatively, click the Apple Menu () > Force Quit, or hold the Option key and right-click the app icon in the Dock, selecting "Force Quit"

  • If Supernormal is not listed proceed to below to use Activity Monitor

Using Activity Monitor

  • Search Activity Monitor on your computer. An easy way to do this is via Launchpad

  • Open Activity Monitor

  • Look for or Search for Supernormal

  • Click the X button to force quit after highlighting Supernormal:

Using Task Manager

  1. Open Task Manager using one of the shortcuts above.

  2. If the window is small, click "More details" at the bottom.

  3. In the Processes tab, locate the frozen application.

  4. Right-click the application and select "End task"
