The Supernormal desktop app is our new app that replaces Norma and the Chrome Extension to capture meetings. Instead of needing browser extensions or bots, the Supernormal app automatically captures your meetings directly from your Mac or Windows desktop.

Yes. As of April 2, 2026, both are required to use Supernormal. The desktop app sits as a widget that runs in the background to capture your meetings. All meetings captured will live in app.supernormal.com and you will have a place to generate documents, emails, and action items.
