What is Supernormal.com?
Supernormal.com is our original web app, and we made meeting prep, notes, and next steps effortless for tens of thousands of teams. It turns meetings into moments of productivity and collaboration through its Chrome extension and bot assistant named Norma.
What is the Supernormal desktop app?
The Supernormal app is our new AI-powered Mac app that takes everything great about Supernormal.com and amplifies it. Instead of needing browser extensions or bots, the Supernormal app automatically captures your meetings and helps you generate documents, emails, and action items directly from your Mac.
Can I use both Supernormal.com and the Supernormal app?
Yes. However, we recommend trying the Supernormal app on its own to experience the full capabilities. To transition to the Supernormal app, you can stop Norma from joining your meetings and/or pause or remove the Chrome extension.
Stopping Norma from joining
Go to app.supernormal.com
Navigate to Account Settings
Adjust your preferences to disable automatic meeting joining
Uninstalling the Chrome Extension
To uninstall the Chrome extension:
Go to chrome://extensions in your search bar
Select Remove for the Supernormal extension

Import your existing Supernormal posts into the Supernormal app
Transitioning to the Supernormal app from Supernormal.com? We’ve made it simple to complete a one time import of historical meeting data saved to your Supernormal.com account.
Importing posts from Supernormal.com
While the Supernormal app is open, navigate to your Mac menu bar, and select File > Import Supernormal data from the drop down menu to start the import process.
2. When the import begins, you will see the following message
3. Track the status of your import from the bottom left corner of the the Supernormal app
4. After your import is complete, you can access all historical Supernormal.com posts in the left-hand navigation by date, alongside what you’ve captured with the Supernormal app.
Notes will not import over from Supernormal, but you may manually generate meeting summaries from the meeting pages.
Generating meeting summaries for imported meetings
To generate meeting summaries for imported meetings type "Craft meeting summary" into the chat field- What else can I help you with?
Upon generation, this summary will automatically be added to the main page of the meeting.
❗️Importing into the Supernormal app will not affect post access in Supernormal.com
❗️This is not a recurring sync; if you continue to capture meetings in Supernormal after importing into the Supernormal app, those new meetings cannot be imported into the Supernormal app.
❗️This is a one time import, once complete, you will not be able to run another.
❗️We do not support imports from the Supernormal app to Supernormal.com
