Note: The starred languages are only supported by Google Meet. I.e., if you have selected Turkish on your Supernormal account, but conduct a meeting in Zoom, your transcript and notes may not be as reliable. We are working to guarantee support for the same languages across all platforms very soon!
Setting your language in your Supernormal Settings
To select your transcript and notes language, navigate to your Account Settings page, find the preferred transcription language section and choose your desired language.
Google Meet
When using Google Meet, your Google Meet captions language needs to match the language you've selected in your Supernormal Settings.
Supernormal will automatically select the captions language for you, based on the language preference selected on your Supernormal account.
If changing languages between meetings, you may double check that your Google Meet caption language is set correctly by navigating to your Google Meet settings while on a call, selecting "Captions", and confirming the language selected:
Note: Language preferences apply to all of your meetings, so you may experience unexpected results if you choose to speak a different language while recording.
If you have meetings in different languages, you'll want to change the language preference on your Supernormal account PRIOR to the meeting. Transcripts cannot be generated in a different language after the meeting has taken place.
