Supernormal uses bots to capture video on Meet. Request video recording for Google Meet meetings through the extension.

📌 First, install the Supernormal Chrome extension if you've not already done so.
When you join your meeting, click Record on the Supernormal status bar in the bottom left corner of your screen.
2. A pop-up will appear in the lower right corner of your screen asking you to admit the Supernormal bot. Click Admit to permit the bot to join
A bot will shortly join your meeting and Supernormal will start recording. This can take a few seconds. You'll know the meeting is being recorded once you see the Supernormal bot as a participant in the call and the status bar says says it's “recording & taking notes”.
❗ Note: if you're not the meeting host, you'll need to make sure the host allows the bot to join. Otherwise, the meeting cannot be recorded.
