To selectively transcribe meetings on Google Meet disable Automatically take notes for Google Meet meetings preference under Account Settings.

  1. When you click join from your calendar; on the waiting room screen the extension status bar in the lower left corner will read “Launch the extension to transcribe”

  2. If pinned to your search bar, select the Supernormal icon to launch; if not, select the puzzle icon to search for Supernormal AI and select the icon from the drop down to launch the extension

What to expect after you join a Google Meet meeting

  1. Once you join your meeting, the status will update to “will automatically transcribe and take notes”

2. Finally, once the extension recognizes dialogue, the status will update to “transcribing & taking notes”. This status confirms that the extension is actively doing these 2 things.

3. End your meeting by clicking the red end call button, or by closing out of the Google Meet meeting window.

4. Once the meeting is closed, a new tab will open up into your Supernormal account, directing you to the notes for the meeting that just ended
