Auto-share is the default setting on the Starter Plan. However upon sign up, and in Account Settings, you can select to whom your notes are shared; either to only internal team invitees or to all invitees.

❗️Internal invitees are those with the same email domain as your own

“Don’t automatically share” is a feature available to only Pro and Business accounts.
